What is Healthier SG?
Healthier SG is a national initiative by the Ministry of Health (MOH) focusing on preventive health. Singaporeans can take proactive steps to manage their health, prevent the onset of chronic diseases and have strong support to lead healthier lifestyles.
Healthier SG offers you:
- Trusted care from your family doctor for your health needs.
- All rounded support to lead healthier lifestyles and see better health outcomes.
- Empowerment to take charge of your own health.
One Family Clinic and One Health Plan for Everyone
We want all Singaporeans to have a trusted and lifelong relationship with your family doctor.
-
Your family doctor will work with you to develop a personalised health plan.
-
You are encouraged to visit your chosen family clinic for all your care needs and discuss your health goals, including the nationally recommended health screenings and vaccinations you should go for.
An Ecosystem of Support for Better Health
The three regional health clusters – National Healthcare Group (NHG), National University Health System (NUHS) and SingHealth, will work towards developing an integrated health and social ecosystem within their region.
They will partner agencies such as the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), Health Promotion Board (HPB), People’s Association (PA), Sport Singapore and social and community partners to support your health goals.
For a start, you will be able to access more physical and health-promoting activities, and you will be able to choose the activities that suit you best.
If you are older, the regional health clusters and your family doctor will advise you on how you can attend healthy activities and programmes, such as at the local Active Ageing centres.
